Online Advertising Rate Card No. 2

(still in effect through 2003)

Online advertising in Buyers' Guide section:
Advertising in the Buyers' Guide section of TEST's website is available only to companies listed in the Buyers' Guide, and only for the entire year (from this March 1 through next March 1).  Ads may be placed mid-year, but will be charged as if placed for the entire year.  Banner ads and half-banner ads are placed just after each advertiser's listing in a product or service category, and/or immediately following each advertiser's contact information in the Company Index.

BANNER ADS are maximum 500 pixels height-plus-width, include a hotlink, and must be provided as GIF or JPEG files.  Rates are:
    1 ad $150.00 each per year     11 to 25 ads $100.00 each per year
    2 to 10 ads $125.00 each per year     26 or more ads $75.00 each per year

HALF-BANNER ADS are maximum 300 pixels height-plus-width, include a hotlink, and must be provided as GIF or JPEG files.  Rates are:
    1 ad $110.00 each per year     11 to 25 ads $75.00 each per year
    2 to 10 ads $95.00 each per year     26 or more ads $55.00 each per year

DESIGN SERVICES:  We will design a no-special-effects banner or half-banner ad for a fee of $50.00.
ROTATING BANNER ADS are available only to banner advertisers (not to buyers of half-banner ads).  Rotating banner ads are placed just above main category headings.  If only one company places a rotating banner ad with a specific category heading, it will appear every time that page is accessed.  However, if two companies place a rotating banner ad with the same category heading, the two ads will appear alternately each time that page is access; if three companies place in the same spot, each ad will appear every third time the page is accessed, and so on.
  • OPTION ONE:  Ad will be placed once, in a stationary position, directly after your company contact information in the Buyers' Guide Company Index section, and a second time as a rotating ad in either the Buyers' Guide Products/Equipment section or the Buyers' Guide Test Services section. 

    Rates are:
    Stationary ad at rates shown above plus 25%
  • for each rotating ad

  • OPTION TWO:  Ad will be placed once, in a stationary position, directly after your company contact information in the Buyers' Guide Company Index section, and twice more as a rotating ad -- in both the Buyers' Guide Products/Equipment section and the Buyers' Guide Test Services section. 

    Rates are:
    Stationary ad at rates shown above plus 50%
  • for each rotating ad
